I am running for re-election to passionately serve my community. Together we can make sure Brookfield remains a premier location to raise a family, start a business, and retire.

I believe in common sense economic development. Brookfield needs to be fiscally responsible when providing incentives to attract businesses. There has to be a balance between encouraging economic growth and development without providing publicly-funded handouts. The city has a growing budget deficit which needs to be monitored and addressed so residents can continue to enjoy our low property taxes.

As a member of the Common Council, he’s championed a new and all accessible & inclusive $1.5M playground at Wirth Park (ready Fall 2024’), Expanded the Fire Department with 3 years of 100% Federal funding, improved the Ethics ordinance so employees and elected officials are held to the highest standards, increased the micro-surfacing budget to extend the life of our local roads, greatly expanded our parks through increased pathway funding & park square footage, and fixed multiple ordinances to improve service delivery and give residents greater flexibility.

While Brookfield is a great community, it does not service all of our residents equally. I believe in making the City much more accessible than it is by improving our housing options to accommodate a wider range of incomes so folks can live in the community they work and have viable options for downsizing and snow-birding. Additionally, we have an immediate need to make our community more accessible for those with disabilities by upgrading our facilities, services, and programming. We can, and must, do better.

Local government must be transparent and open. It's not about me. It's about what we build together. Everyone should have a voice in the direction of their community. If elected, I will make sure that my constituents are informed and aware of what is being discussed so their voices can be heard before a decision is voted on.

Great parks, schools, and public spaces are the backbone of a vibrant and prosperous community. Not only do they dramatically increase property values, they enhance the quality of life for all Brookfield residents. Brookfield has some of the finest public amenities, and I plan to keep supporting that tradition.
